All-Russian School Olympiad is a mass annual event for working with gifted schoolchildren in the Russian education system. This system covers 24 subject Olympiads for students of state, municipal and non-state educational organizations that implement educational programs of the main and secondary general education.
The Olympiad is held during the school year from September to May on time and includes four stages: school, municipal, regional and final. The final stage is carried out in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation selected on the basis of applications.
Winners and winners of the final stage receive a diploma that gives the right to admits if the certificate has a certificate without exams to any university of the Russian Federation on the Olympiad profile and awarded the Special Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The organizer of the Olympiad is the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, approving the composition of the Central Organizing Committee and the composition of the central subject-methodical commissions.
Participation in the stages of the Olympiad is determined by the procedure for the All-Russian School Olympiad (hereinafter referred to as the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren (hereinafter referred to as the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1252 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia January 21, 2014, Registration No. 31060), with changes made by the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated March 17, 2015 № 249 and dated December 17, 2015 №1488.

The organizer of the school stage is the local government body, which carries out management in the field of education.
The school stage of the Olympiad is carried out for students of 5-11 classes of 24 general educational subjects, as well as for students of grade 4 in Russian and mathematics.
At the school stage, every student who wants to participate in this intellectual competition and studying in one of the educational organizations of the municipality can take part in this intellectual contest.
Parent (legal representative) of the student who announced his participation in the Olympiad, on time not less than 10 working days before the start of the school stage of the Olympiad in writing confirms the acquaintance with the order and represents the organizer of the school stage of the Olympiad, consent to the publication of the Olympics of his minor child, Including in the information and communication network "Internet" in the event that it becomes the winner or prize-winner of the Olympiad stage. When publishing in the information and communication network "Internet" protocols of the jury and works of winners and winners of the Olympiad, the following information on students are indicated: the name and initials of the participant of the Olympiad, class; number of points; the subject of the Russian Federation.
The organizer of the school stage ensures the collection and storage of applications of parents (legal representatives) of students who declared their participation in the Olympiad, about familiarizing the procedure and harmony to publish the Olympiad works of their minors on the Internet.
About the site and order of participation in the school stage of the Olympiad, everyone should be informed in advance by the organizer of the school stage. Responsibility for providing the ability to participate in the school stage are the leaders of those educational organizations in which these students are trained.
In case of the impossibility of holding the school stage of the Olympiad, in an educational organization, the school stage organizer is recommended to choose a platform within the framework of the current organizational and technological model for the specified stage of the Olympiad in the subject of the Russian Federation.
At the school stage of the Olympics, the Olympiad participant has the right to fulfill the tasks for the older class in relation to the one in which it is studying.
The quota for participation in the school stage of the Olympics is not installed.
In the municipal stage of the Olympiad takes part 7-11 classes.
The organizer of the municipal stage of the Olympiad is the local government body that carries out management in the field of education.
The organizer establishes the number of participants in the municipal stage of the Olympics for each general educational subject. He also forms the lists of the participants of this stage of the Olympics, establishing the number of points for each general educational subject and the class necessary to participate in this stage of the Olympiad.
In the municipal stage of the Olympiad, they take individual participation:
Participants in this municipal education in the current school year of the school stage of the Olympiad, who performed tasks not lower than the level of grade 7 and scored the number of points established by the Organizer;
Winners and pricing of the municipal stage of the Olympics of the previous school year, continuing training in organizations engaged in educational activities on educational programs of the main general and secondary general education.
At the regional stage of the Olympiad, students are participating 9 - 11 classes:
Participants in the Municipal Stage of the Olympics of the current school year, who scored the required number of points established by the Organizer of the Regional Stage of the Olympics on the subject and class;
Winners and prize-winners of the regional stage of the Olympiad of the previous school year, continuing training in organizations engaged in educational activities on educational programs of the main general and secondary general education;
Citizens of the Russian Federation, studying 9 - 11 classes of organizations engaged in educational activities on educational programs of the main general and secondary general education, located outside the territory of the Russian Federation, and the overtakes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, which have specialized structural educational units in their structure.
To participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad of such educational educational organizations, it is necessary to send to the organizer of the regional stage of the Olympiad, i.e. In the state authority of the subject of the Russian Federation, which implements public administration in the field of education, letter, indicating the information about the students who will participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad. The subject of the Russian Federation is closed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation independently.
Organizers of the regional stage
The quantitative composition of the participants of the Final Stage of the Olympics establishes the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia at the proposal of the Central Organizing Committee of the All-Russian School Olympiad.
In the final stage, the Olympics take individual participation:
Participants in the Regional Stage of the Olympiad of the current school year, whitichered to participate in the final stage of the Olympics, the number of points established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia;
Winners and winners of the final stage of the Olympiad of the previous school year, continuing training in organizations engaged in educational activities on educational programs of the main and secondary general education.
In case, in any subject of the Russian Federation, no participant in the regional stage of the Olympics has gained the number of points established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad, by decision of the organizer of the regional stage of the Olympiad of this subject of the Russian Federation for the final stage, one participant can be sent to the final stage. The Olympics Stage of the current year who scored the largest number of points (but at least 50% of the number of points established by the Ministry of Education of Russia).
Studying 5-8 classes of educational organizations, which are members of the regional stage of the Olympics and the number of points needed to participate in the final stage, are allowed to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad, if at the previous stages of the Olympiad they advocated at least grade 9. This fact must be confirmed by the final results of the regional stage of the relevant subject of the Russian Federation.

The All-Russian School Olympiad is one of the most massive and long-awaited events in the educational sphere of Russia. He is anticipated by gifted guys, students practically in all classes. From the history of the Olympics
Of course, about the development of the modern All-Russian Olympiad, it is possible to speak from the moment the history of Russia began as a federal state. However, the foundations of this event in the field of education were laid out in the distant XIX century, when in 1886, members of the astronomical community of the Russian Empire initiated the conduct of olympiad competitions to solve mathematical tasks for "studying youth."
When the Russian Empire on the world map changed the Soviet Union, the school olympic movement did not simply stopped, but also noticeably intensified - since the 30s of the last century, Olympiads were carried out for disciples such as mathematics, physics and chemistry. Gradually, the Olympics began to be called All-Union, but in the 60s Minister of Education M.A. Prokofiev was signed by a decree on approval of a whole list of Olympiad competitions between schoolchildren.
Over time, the number of objects for which one could demonstrate their knowledge, only increased. For example, the informatics was included in the list back in 1989, since 1992, a list was included in the list, in two years - astronomy and ecology, through three - literature, and in 2000 the first foreign language was introduced into the list - they became German. The disciplines of the All-Russian Olympiad

Organization of the Oblast Olympiad
The victory in the All-Russian Olympiad suggests the passage of a long and challenging path, because students will have to demonstrate their strongest parties within 4 stages:
- School stage. This tour can be safely called the simplest, since its organizers are the local governments that are responsible for education in the areas of the city. In the first stage, the guys are competing, representing classes from the 5th to the 11th. Students of the 4th grades take part in this tour only in two subjects - the Russian language and mathematics. - Municipal stage. In this tour, participants are children representing classes from the 7th to the 11th. It organizes this stage of the urban education department, whose specialists establish the quotas of participants for each academic discipline, constitutes lists of students (at the same time, the number of points that each class received by the previous stage of the Olympiad) is taken into account. You can participate as the winners of the school tours of the current year, and the guys who became the winners of the Olympiad last year.
- Regional stage. This level of the Olympics is carried out for students who are trained in programs from 9 to 11th grades. Participation is determined by the number of points scored at the municipal tour. As in the last stage, they can compete as a winner of the municipal phase of the 2018/2019 school year and the past. In addition, the number of participants can be expanded and at the expense of students who are trained abroad in educational institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
- The final stage It is carried out on the scale of the whole state. The composition of the final round of the Olympiad is formed directly by specialists representing the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In this tour, students who have become the winners of the current and past academic period can also compete. If there is a situation that in some region of the country, none of the participants in the subject Olympiad managed to collect the proper number of points, then the Ministry of Education may agree to delegate one student, which scored at least 50% of all points for the tasks of the regional tour. There is also an exception for students who actually learn in the 5-8 grade school, but they wish to speak on the subject of grade 9. The winners and prize-winners of this prestigious tour are given diplomas who certify the right to enter any universities of the country. It is necessary to observe only two conditions - get a school certificate and admit a specialty for the profile of the subject in which the victory was recorded. In addition, such gifted children receive a special premium from the person's Russian government.
Quotas for participants
It is worth distinguishing the concepts of winners and winners of tours related to regional and international stages. The winner is automatically becoming a student who scored the maximum points in its subject. The prize-winner must receive points established as a passage by the Ministry of Education. In addition, the number of prizes has a clearly defined quota:
- at the regional tour, their number cannot exceed 25%;
- on the final round there may be no more than 45%. At the same time, at this stage, the number of winners is also limited - no more than 8% of the entire composition of the tour participants.
Which periods are the stages of the Olympics?
The Olympiad covers almost the entire academic year: it begins in September, and ends in May month. If we talk about the individual stages, then for them in 2018/2019, as before, such periods will be enshrined:
- the school tour is held from mid-September and at the end of October.
- the municipal tour is organized from the 20th of October to mid-December;
- the regional stage passes from mid-January to the end of February;
- the final stage of the school Olympiad will take place from mid-March and until mid-May.
Preparation for typical tasks in the Olympiad

Like any phenomenon, the Olympics have two sides.
