Tretiak military rank. Vladislav Tretyak - biography, information, personal life

The first matches of Super Series-72 shocked the hockey community. The North American press pounced on unimportant NHL speakers, criticizing them on all counts. Especially hit the Canadian forwards, in the Canadian part of the series, they looked like a shadow of themselves. There were many reasons for this, but the most compelling of them was the amazing play of the Soviet team goalkeeper Vladislav Tretyak. Tretiak was born in the village of Orudevo near Moscow on April 25, 1952. As a child, he went through a good school of a number of sports, among which were ski race, football, and even gymnastics... And chance helped little Vladislav to stop his eyes on hockey. Once he and three comrades came to Leningradsky Prospekt, to the CSKA Sports Palace, where they were recruiting hockey school... There was a real pandemonium at the gate - it seemed that all the Moscow boys at once decided to become hockey players. Tretiak by that time was already decently on skates and had a wonderful physical form - thanks to other sports. Unsurprisingly, he was among the four accepted. At the age of 17, Tretyak made his debut in the army team of masters and by that time had such a winning spirit that he perceived any defeat as a personal insult. He was not afraid of bruises and cuts, but if the team lost, Tretyak suffered a lot, worried, could not sleep. We had to wait for the next game and new victories. The latter, however, were much more than defeats. Together with his team, Tretyak became the champion of Moscow, receiving the best goalkeeper prize. Earlier, at the European Championship, the USSR youth team, where Vladislav was the second goalkeeper, took silver. And although the performance was considered unsuccessful, after this tournament the famous goalkeeper Nikolai Puchkov said: "I do not like to lavish compliments on young people, but now I will willingly change my rule, I have one boy named Vladik. He won me over in training with his amazing reaction, mobility, courage. I believe: he will be good. " The masterful game of the young hockey player also attracted CSKA mentor Anatoly Tarasov. The mentor took Tretyak to the main squad of the army club and to the national team Soviet Union... Already in 1969, Vladislav took part in his first world championship and won it, however, as a backup for another great goalkeeper, Viktor Konovalenko. However, Tretyak did not have to wait long for the role of the first goalkeeper of the national team. The next year, it was his actions that brought the Soviet team another title, and in total our hero won ten world championships and three winter Olympics... He was one of the most prominent figures in the legendary Super Series 72. Nobody believed in Soviet hockey players in Canada, and even here they were seriously afraid of professionals who smash everything in their path. But the meetings, contrary to all forecasts, were held on an equal footing, and Vladislav Tretyak from the very first matches became the favorite of the Canadian spectators. The speed with which he reacted to the movement of the puck amazed North American pros. It was felt that if he played in the NHL, he would be one of the best. Overseas audiences came in droves to get autographs. And the books that were published in America were swept off the shelves in the very first days. It is not surprising that Tretiak have been trying to get themselves the NHL clubs for a long time. The last attempt was made by “Montreal” in 1984, when the goalkeeper himself was already 32 years old - the pre-retirement age for a hockey player at that time. But Vladislav Alexandrovich was not allowed overseas, and he could not flee the country, as some players did in the late 80s. The great goalkeeper remained in the Soviet Union, but left hockey - he had nothing to conquer, there were no unconquered peaks left. Subsequently, Tretyak made a notable public career, not forgetting, however, about hockey. In 2000, he joined Russia’s Presidential Council for physical culture and sports. In 1998 and 2002 he was a member of the coaching staff of the Russian national team, which won silver and bronze medals Olympic Games... In December 2003, he first became a State Duma deputy, heading the committee for physical culture, sports and youth affairs, and in 2006 he headed the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. author Farid Bektemirov

Many victories have made Vladislav Tretyak a living legend soviet sports... Our today's hero managed to contribute to the development of hockey even after he officially ended his career. IN last years he has worked fruitfully as a coach and sports director. Such efficiency and versatility of life profiles inspires respect. Therefore, our today's story about the legendary Soviet hockey player, for sure, will be very, very interesting.

The early years, childhood and family of Vladislav Tretyak

Vladislav Tretyak was born in the village of Orudevo in the near Moscow region. His father worked as a pilot, and therefore always devoted a lot of time to his physical fitness... No less sports man there was also the mother of the future hockey player, who taught physical education all her life.

That is why from the most early years our today's hero is constantly engaged in this or that sport. At first, he was fond of swimming, gymnastics, acrobatics, diving, but very soon all other hobbies were replaced by hockey. Tretyak was very fond of "ice battles", and therefore, seeing such enthusiasm, the mother of our today's hero very soon took him to the hockey school of Moscow CSKA. In this team, Vladislav passed a strict competitive selection, having impressed the team's coaching staff with his ability to fearlessly rush to the puck.

So our today's hero ended up in the camp of the "army". In this team, Tretyak became a professional hockey player. Here, later, our today's hero began his hockey career.

Having passed all the levels of the club hierarchy, Vladislav joined the main team of the club when he was sixteen years old. However, he managed to "play" in the club only in the 1969 season. Our today's hero played his debut match at the gates of CSKA in a match against Moscow "Spartak". And very soon he became the main goalkeeper of the team.

Tretyak, Vasiliev, Maltsev. Farewell match.

Around the same period, Vladislav Tretyak managed to participate several times in international tournaments as a player in the USSR youth team. With this team, the talented goalkeeper managed to achieve many important victories and get hold of his first awards.

However, very soon the career of a player in the youth team was interrupted. The reason for this was ... the challenge of the player to the main team of the country.

Tretyak-goalkeeper career

In 1970, our today's hero was admitted as a reserve goalkeeper to the national team of the Soviet Union. In the same season, he first won gold medals at the World Hockey Championship in Stockholm. That victory made Tretyak believe in himself. Gaining experience, our today's hero felt more and more confident at the gates of CSKA and the USSR national team. And already for the next world championship, the talented hockey player went to the status of the first goalkeeper. That international forum again became "golden" for the goalkeeper. Tretiak grew professionally, and very soon hockey specialists and ordinary spectators began to talk about him as one of the brightest goalkeepers of his time.

In total, during his bright, albeit very short career, the Russian goalkeeper won ten gold medals at the world championships as part of the USSR national team, ten awards of the same dignity at the European championships. Moreover, in its track record there are also three "gold" Olympic Games and a medal of the highest standard won in the Canada Cup.

Vladislav Tretyak. "Goalkeeper without a mask"

Vladislav Tretyak says about himself:

“I am the goalkeeper. My element is a skating rink seething with passions. I love to feel myself in the thick hockey battleswhen the washers whistle and thump on the wooden sides, when sparks fly from under the skates, and the hot breath of the athletes seems to be about to melt the ice. I love it when my heart is ready to jump out of my chest from tension and sweat covers my eyes, and the stands go crazy, and the attacks of my opponents, like waves, roll over my goal. I love hockey because this is my life. "

In order to become a great hockey player, you need discipline, will, concentration, phenomenal ability to work, as well as strong nerves and intuition based on knowledge of the opponent's behavior. And of course, you need luck.

At the end of December 1967 and the beginning of January, the first ice hockey tournament (European Championship) for hockey players under 19 years old was held. Then the coach of the Soviet team, an outstanding goalkeeper, said: “In general, I do not like to lavish compliments on young people (friends will confirm this), but now I am willing to change this rule, I have one boy named Vladik. He won me over in training with his amazing reaction, mobility, courage. I believe it will make sense. " And Puchkov was not mistaken, the boy Vladik subsequently became a world-class hockey star - Vladislav Tretyak. Nikolai Puchkov's words about Vladislav Tretyak were published in the Football-Hockey weekly for 1967. So for the first time in the press appeared the name of the future 10-time world champion, 9-time European champion, 13-time champion of the USSR.

Since childhood, Vladislav Tretyak was in love with sports, he ran crosses, skated, played volleyball and football, jumped from a platform, got on skis, did acrobatics, gymnastics, overcoming fear, jumped from a five-meter platform. And he wanted to be the first so that he would not undertake everywhere. Once little Vladik told his mother: "I will definitely be a champion." "Sportsman" - she corrected. "No, only a champion!" Years later, Vera Petrovna and her son recalled this conversation with a smile.

At the age of 11, Vladislav begins to play hockey at the CSKA hockey school on Leningradsky Prospekt, where he came with the guys who dream of becoming hockey players. The coaches tested the skating skills of the children before taking them to training, especially the ability to skate reverse... Vladislav knew how to ride in reverse is not bad and was selected among the other four guys and accepted into the famous club. At first, Vladislav played as a striker and he really wanted to get a hockey uniform, which was not enough for everyone. At that time there was no goalkeeper and he approached the coach Vitaly Georgievich Erfilov and said that if he was given a real form, he would be the goalkeeper. So Tretyak got his first real form and then for 15 years remained the permanent number one goalkeeper of CSKA and the national team, whose game was always distinguished by the highest reliability.

In the summer of 1967, CSKA coach Anatoly Vladimirovich Tarasov became interested in young promising players. So Tretyak began to work with professional players and was very proud that he lived in the CSKA boarding house, that he was allowed to change into undress next to famous hockey players.

Then the team left for the south, and Vladislav returned to the boys' team. He played under number "20". Soon Vladislav Tretyak and his team became the champion of Moscow, having received the prize of the best goalkeeper. In the 1968/69 season, he made his debut for CSKA in the match against Spartak.

In 1969, the CSKA coach Anatoly Vladimirovich Tarasov insisted that seventeen-year-old Vladislav Tretyak be included in the national hockey team. Tarasov explained his choice with his extraordinary capacity for work, Tretyak's diligence and fanatical devotion to hockey. “Do you think playing hockey is difficult? - asked Tarasov. And he himself answered: it's easy to play. It's hard to train! " Train in a way that makes you feel sick every day, 1350 hours a year.

“From that day on, my whole life went differently,” writes Vladislav Tretyak. - Tarasov set a goal for himself: to make Tretyak the best goalkeeper. ("The best in the country?" I asked. Anatoly Vladimirovich looked at me in bewilderment: "In the world! Remember this once and for all"). And we started to work. Now sometimes I can't even believe that I could withstand those colossal loads that then fell on my still not strong shoulders. Three workouts a day! Some incredible new, specially invented exercises for me ... In the classroom, dozens of pucks almost simultaneously flew into my goal, and I tried to beat off all the pucks. All! I played in matches almost every day - yesterday for the youth team, today for the youth team, tomorrow for the adult team. And as soon as I missed one goal, Tarasov asked the next day: “What happened? Well, let's figure it out. " If I was to blame, and the goalkeeper was almost always "guilty", then the punishment would inevitably follow: everyone went home, and I did, say, five hundred lunges or a hundred somersaults over my head. I might not have done it - after all, no one saw this, all the coaches also went home. But it never entered my head to do at least one lunge or somersault less. I believed Tarasov, believed his every word. The penalty also followed if I missed the puck in practice. The meaning, I hope, is clear: my mentor wanted me not to be indifferent to the goals conceded, so that I perceive every puck in the net as an emergency.

The coach constantly instilled in me that I still do not represent anything, that my successes are the successes of the whole team. And then I believed him unconditionally. And I think now that if it were otherwise, then nothing good would have come of me. I owe a lot to Tarasov. He was my second father, this amazing person, whom Canadian professionals call “the patriarch of Russian hockey”.

Throughout his sports career, Vladislav Tretyak did not miss more than one training session, even if there were failures on his way, he did not become limp, but continued to stubbornly do his job. He developed psychological stability no less consistently than a unique and perfect technique. During the growth and improvement of Tretyak's athletic abilities, significant changes took place in world hockey: power wrestling was allowed throughout the field, clubs with bent hooks came into fashion, which made the throws much more cunning and stronger, increased speeds, more struggle began to be tied in a patch at the gate , the forwards striving for finishing became more aggressive, hockey became more dynamic and sharper. Such a dynamic game required a goalkeeper with lightning-fast reaction and masterly technique, who was able to predict different combinations of the opponent. Such a goalkeeper was expected in world hockey and Vladislav Tretyak became him.

In 1970, Vladislav Tretyak was admitted to the USSR national team for the World Championship in Stockholm, and became the world champion for the first time. Since 1971, he has been the main goalkeeper of the national team. The 1971 World Championship in Switzerland was remembered for the non-standard move of coach Anatoly Tarasov. Wanting to support the team, which at first was leading in the score 2: 0, and then began to lose, he sat down on the bench just before going onto the ice and, as if for himself, sang: "This is our last and decisive fight ..." The hockey players' eyes became wet. There was no need to say anything more, the team was torn to the ice and won with a score of 6: 3! The team goalkeeper was not even nineteen years old.

In 1972, Vladislav Tretyak became the first Olympic champion at the Sapporo Olympics. He was the youngest ice hockey player ever. In 1972, Tretyak won silver at the World Championships.

Vladislav Tretyak was the first goalkeeper from the hockey team of the Soviet Union who had a chance to meet with foreign hockey players who were considered high-class professionals and were at an unattainable height. At that time, no one had any idea that Vladislav Tretyak would become one of the main participants in the matches of Soviet hockey players with Canadian professionals, and the event of those years would become the most important events of hockey life for many years.

When negotiations were just underway about a match between the teams of the Soviet Union and the NHL, a representative of one of the Canadian trading firms in Moscow, who was interested in soviet hockey said, consoling: "I think that the score 0: 8 in a meeting with any NHL club will be honorable for your national team ..." Of course, before the trip to Canada, our hockey players, coaches and millions of fans were worried.

In the fall of 1972, the legendary meeting of the two teams took place and Vladislav Tretyak took part in meetings with Canadian professionals in the "Super Series - 72". September 2, 1972 in the stands of the Montreal Stadium, hundreds of fans. Canadian hockey players attacked our gates with lightning speed, sweeping away everything in their path. Television fans and Vladislav Tretyak himself did not see anything except the dance of the giant Exposito with a raised stick. Another six minutes passed and now the second goal in the goal, and only then the viewers saw that the attacks of the Canadians began to crash against the stone barrier, which was represented by goalkeeper Vladislav Tretyak for their pucks. Sometimes it seemed that he could not get out from under the pile of bodies storming his goal, but no, he got out and was ready to take the puck again. The confidence of the goalkeeper and defenders, who worked and fought right at the goal line, gradually shifted to the forwards, who gradually lost their fear of the legends of Canadian hockey. Zimin and Petrov equalized, and then Valery Kharlamov scored magnificent goals. As a result, the Canadian professionals lost to the Soviet national team with a score of 7: 3 their first game with the NHL team Tretiak considers one of the best in his sports career... The heroes of the series are Valery Kharlamov, Alexander Yakushev and Vladislav Tretyak.

1974 again brought fame to the Soviet goalkeeper and turned out to be very happy for him. At his fifth world championship in Helsinki, he received his fourth gold medal and was named the championship's best goalkeeper for the first time. The captain of our team Boris Mikhailov said then: "Everyone played well, but the best was undoubtedly Tretyak." A little later, journalists named Vladislav, and also for the first time, the best hockey player in the country in 1974. Having received recognition, Vladislav Tretyak trained as selflessly as if he had to win a place in the army club and in the national team again and again. He continued to play a lot, sometimes too much, but he could not act otherwise.

In 1974, meeting in a new series with Canadian professionals, the victory went to the national team of the Soviet Union. Tretiak was greeted with enthusiasm in Canada. Playing against the Canadians, Tretiak worked wonders on the ice. Experienced coaches and journalists did not hide their admiration for the young athlete and his ability to figure out the style of play of professional strikers, as well as his ability to take even powerfully launched pucks into a trap. Tretiak, even if he was hitting the puck, would rise off the ice at lightning speed and take the only correct and invulnerable position and block the puck's path. At the end of the match, the famous Canadian goalkeeper Jacques Plant presented him with his book with the inscription: "The greatest goalkeeper I have seen in the game." After the hockey players returned to Moscow, a documentary film "Vladislav Tretyak vs. Bobby Hull" was released.

In 1975 Tretiak took part in another memorable match - against the Montreal Canadiens. As the forward of the Canadians Guy Lefleur later said, "neither before nor after this meeting have I seen the goalkeeper act so well."

In 1976, at the Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Tretiak carried the flag of the national team, and following the results of the Olympic Games themselves, he became the Olympic champion for the second time. The most intense match was the match in Czechoslovakia, at the beginning of which the USSR national team conceded two goals, and then had to play in the numerical minority 3 x 5. Nevertheless, the USSR national team won and beat the Czechoslovakians with a score of 4: 3, becoming the winner of the Olympic tournament. After another victory of the Soviet national team at the Moscow World Championship in 1979, the famous Canadian coach Dave Bauer exclaimed: "Vladislav Tretyak is the shining peak of that unattainable fifteen-thousander, whose name is Soviet hockey!"

In 1980, the USSR national team in Lake Placid was unexpectedly defeated by the US student team. Tretiak in that match a few seconds before the end of the first period after a long-range shot by Kristen, hit the puck in front of him. Best forward american team managed to slip between two Soviet defenders, dodged Tretyak and scored a goal a second before the end of the period. The USSR national team went into the locker room, and the coaches tried to prove that the goal was scored after the end of the period. The goal was counted. In the second period, Vladimir Myshkin played at the goal. The team of the Soviet Union failed to rectify the situation, one goal was thrown, and two more were conceded. The game went down in hockey history under the name "Miracle on Ice" and ended with a score of 3: 4.

Since 1981, training began to prepare for matches in Canada. Canadians held special training camps, since it was about the prestige of Canadian hockey, they everywhere declared that this time the advantage would be on the side of the Canadians. After the unfortunate loss in Lake Placid in 1980, the Soviet hockey player also wanted to show the high class of the game.

Vladislav Tretyak says this about that distant match: “If someone had told us before the start that we would win this evening with a score of 8: 1, none of us would have believed it. The Canadians were strong. In addition, the "native wall factor" was at work. Most of the fans had absolutely no doubts about their victory. And the score, meanwhile, is 8: 1 in our favor. On the eve of the newspaper wrote: "The outcome of the final will largely depend on how Tretyak plays." I gave it to the end. And all our other guys showed the maximum of what they are capable of. What happened to the Canadians? In my opinion, they were let down by excessive excitement. They really wanted to show off their game in front of millions of their fans. Highly! In the beginning, the hosts had quite a few favorable chances, but could not score the puck in any way. And then, when they themselves missed a few goals, they completely turned sour. This is the first time I've seen it. Usually professionals fight to the end, no matter what the score is. I was just sorry for their goalkeeper, whom the team left to be torn apart by our forwards. The fans were on a rampage ... "The Cup match was remembered by millions of TV viewers in our country, one of the Canadian newspapers, after the defeat of the Canadian team, bitterly joked:" Tretiak must no longer be allowed into Canada. He "stole" our Cup. "

In February 1984, the USSR national team won gold at the Sarajevo Olympics and Vladislav Tretyak became the Olympic champion for the third time. This was the fourth Olympiad for Tretyak. In the tournament, he played six games, conceding five goals. In the final we played with the team of Czechoslovakia. The match was tense, but it was played according to the scenario developed by the Soviet team. The victory was won in a difficult struggle with a score of 2: 0. Tretiak played the game to zero. At the same time, a record was set - for the first time a hockey goalkeeper became a three-time Olympic champion.

Coach of the Canadian national team Dave King spoke about Tretiak's game: “I saw good goalkeepers... I've seen great ones. But I have not seen the goalkeeper, except for your Tretyak, who would have been in shape at all times ... It seemed incredible. There is no other such goalkeeper. " Tretyak's popularity in the homeland of hockey was amazing. Everyone liked his open smile, his benevolent attitude towards everyone and his friendliness. From the very first matches, Tretyak won the love and respect of the Canadian audience. They admired his incomprehensible dexterity, the extraordinary skill with which he caught the pucks flying into the gates of the USSR team. Before that, even sophisticated Canadians had never seen anything like it. Several times his books were published and republished. They were instantly sold out, the most prominent Canadian statesmen considered it an honor to shake his hand and take a picture with him.

December 22, 1984 Tretyak took the ice for the last time. He retired from hockey at thirty-two: “I left because I was very tired. Fifteen years with CSKA and the national team. No substitutions. Backups came and went. Three generations of outfield players have changed. Four Olympics have passed. All important matches have been played by me. All world championships. All the prizes of Izvestia ... Now we can admit that it was very difficult for me to remain the first goalkeeper for 15 years. This is such a burden of responsibility ... Ten years ago I was asked: "Well, and if everything were all over again, would you go back to this mine?" Then I didn't know what to answer. And now? .. I do not regret the years left behind - they were beautiful, one can only dream of this. But all over again? No, even a chill on my skin passed when I imagined ... "

The famous goalkeeper played at number 20 and young players still consider this number a lucky one. Behind was not only hockey glory, but also studies at the Institute of Physical Education, and then at the Military-Political Academy

Vladislav Tretiak remained faithful to sports even after leaving. In 1984-1986 he started working as an employee of the international department of CSKA. Since 1986 he became the deputy head of the sports games department. In the second half of the 80s, Vladislav Tretyak was a deputy of the Moscow City Council. In 1990, he worked for a large Canadian company Bombardier. In the early 1990s, Tretyak accepted an offer to work in Canada and the United States as a goalkeeper coach for the NHL Chicago Black Hawks. Having worked with Ed Belfort, Tretiak made him a good goalkeeper. At the end of 1990/1991, Ed Belfort received the Vezina Trophy. In the 1992/1993 season, he won second prize. For 13 years Vladislav Tretyak worked in the Athletes' Commission of the International Olympic Committee.

In 1998, Tretyak founded a non-profit sports organization - the Vladislav Tretyak International Sports Academy Foundation.

His dream has come true, now he will be able not only to educate foreign athletes and masters of the national team, but also to give talented children an opportunity to prove themselves at international tournaments, which the Tretyak Foundation will organize in Moscow, Tver, Chicago, Cleveland and other cities.

The Foundation's activities are aimed at creating a material and technical base for sports, primarily for children with disabilities, including the construction of new sports facilities... In addition, the Foundation plans to create hockey schools that train goalkeepers, defenders, forwards, schools figure skating, football, tennis and other sports. The Foundation does a lot of work to support veterans and disabled sportsmen, young and talented athletes, etc.

Introduced and firmly entrenched in practice are international youth tournaments for the Vladislav Tretyak Cup, which are held both in Russia and abroad. The main goal of the tournaments is to strengthen the prestige and authority of Russia on the world sports arena... Currently, the Fund has more than 19 international competitions in which 7.5 thousand teenagers from Russia, Belarus, Slovenia, Latvia, France, Poland, Canada, USA, Finland, Switzerland and other countries of the world took part. In 2005, the zonal tournaments of the 19th Tretyak Cup took place in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen, Saratov, Omsk, Salikhard. The best teams from these regions, along with the national teams of the USA, Canada, Slovenia, took part in the international final in Moscow. In the future, the International Youth Tournament for the Vladislav Tretyak Cup will be included in the official calendar of Rossport competitions. Young athletes, behind whom the future of Russia, begins to appreciate and learn the sense of pride in their country, which is familiar to masters, world and Olympic champions.

At the suggestion of the President of Russia in 2000, Vladislav Tretyak entered the Presidential Council for Physical Culture and Sports. In 1998 and 2002, he was part of the coaching staff of the Russian national team, which won the silver (Nagano) and bronze (Salt Lake City) medals of the Winter Olympics. In 2004, he worked as part of the coaching staff of the Russian national team at the World Cup.

Since 2003, Vladislav Tretyak's political career began. He is elected a deputy of the State Duma of the IV convocation, heads the State Duma committee on physical culture, sports and youth affairs. Re-elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the V convocation from the United Russia party. In December 2011, he became a deputy of the State Duma of the VI convocation from United Russia, and is a member of the Duma faction of this party.

The medical institutions of Saratov, with the support of the Deputy Tretyak, received the most important medical equipment, and the problems of children and youth sports, problems of the social sphere, etc. A significant part of the funds received by Saratov medical institutions with the assistance of Vladislav Tretyak does not come from budget sources - Russian, Canadian friends and fans of the world's most famous athlete are willing to provide charitable assistance, most of which is intended for the treatment of children ...

Since April 2006 Tretyak has been the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. Since 2011, together with Boris Mikhailov, Vladimir Petrov, Georgy Poltavchenko, Sergei Egorov and Artur Chilingarov, Tretyak has been a member of the Board of Trustees International tournament ice hockey Arctic Cup.

Vladislav Tretyak's mother, Vera Pavlovna, was a physical education teacher and played bandy at the Moscow championship as part of the women's team. Father - Alexander Dmitrievich, military pilot, regiment commander in the Chkalovsk Special Purpose Division (Moscow region), retired major. Mom and father died in 2004.

In 1972 Vladislav Tretyak got married. His wife's name is Tatiana. In 1973, Vladislav Tretyak had a son, now he works as a dentist. In 1976, Tretyak had a daughter, she works as a lawyer. Grandson Maxim has become the main goalkeeper in CSKA since 2011. The wife believes that Tretyak is the most wonderful and unique husband in the world. “He is able to shine not only in the sports arena, but also in all household chores,” she says ... “Only love lives in our house! Let everything else stay at home ... I feel like the happiest woman on earth! ”Says his wife Tatyana.

And yet, the house is not the field of activity where Vladislav Aleksandrovich Tretyak, the renowned hockey player, president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and a prominent public and statesman, can find his application.

Vladislav Tretyak's wife has created a solid rear at home and Tretyak can completely devote himself to his favorite work:

1.to render serious assistance in the organization and conduct of various sports events;

2. construction of sports and recreation complexes;

3. take an active part in supporting children's and professional sports;

4. maintain contacts with foreigners, working at the Moscow International Sports Academy bearing his name;

5. work in the State Duma;

6.participate in preparation russian hockey players to international competitions, giving a special place to the education of the young generation of athletes, etc.

Recently to the best hockey goalkeeper the world is 60 years old. For the majority of fans of his favorite game, Vladislav Tretyak is not a prominent public and statesman, president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and a State Duma deputy, but a symbol of fortitude, courage and invincibility. It is difficult to find another such person who enjoys popular love and respect in the West.

In one of his books, Vladislav Tretyak wrote:

“Looking back at my life, I ask myself: what did hockey give me?

Hockey gave me a great opportunity to know myself, appreciate the value of the team and a wonderful sense of camaraderie, check how I can act in difficult circumstances.

Hockey helped me understand and appreciate the importance of friendship, mutual assistance, tempered me physically and mentally, taught me to be composure and endurance. And most importantly, he brought up a holy feeling of love for the Motherland, clearly showed how dear our beloved Fatherland is to us.

Going in for hockey, you will also feel how your muscles are filling, there is a joy of life, movement, the desire to play as best as possible. After a few months of training and games, you yourself will see how great you have changed for the better: you have become hardened, more enduring, more disciplined, you have begun to study better.

So even if you don't become a hockey master major league, then the years spent in hockey will give you the hardening so necessary for all of us to adequately solve the tasks set by life, to work successfully for the benefit of our beloved Motherland.

Vladislav Tretyak, whose biography is described in this article, is a legend of Russian hockey. This is a goalkeeper who was able to repel almost any opponent's attack. As a result, the teams for which Tretiak played always received the highest marks. Only in the USSR national team, Vladislav helped the team win gold 24 times in various championships and the Olympic Games. No less high-profile victories were also in the composition of CSKA. Thanks to his talent, the athlete became a living hockey legend in Soviet times.

Childhood

Vladislav Tretyak was born on April 25, 1952, in the Moscow region, in the village of Orudevo. The family of Vladislav Tretyak was inextricably linked with sports. The boy's father, Alexander Dmitrievich, was a retired pilot, major. He devoted a lot of time to sports. The mother of the future champion, Vera Petrovna, was a physical education teacher at school until her retirement. In her youth, she played in the women's team at the Moscow championship in bandy. Vladislav's parents died in 2004.

Tretiak Jr. grew up as an active child from childhood. I tried myself in different types sports: acrobatics, diving, swimming and gymnastics. But most of all he was attracted by hockey. Vladislav Tretyak took an example from his older brother, who was fond of sports. Parents welcomed such hobbies of their sons and on weekends the whole family often went to the skating rink in the park. Gorky.

During his summer holidays, Vlad went to pioneer camps for five years in a row. There he devoted most of his time to sports. He loved volleyball, ping-pong and football. But most of all, the boy was attracted by skis and skates. Although in any sports field, he tried to always be the first.

Hockey hobby

Vladislav Tretyak became seriously interested in hockey at the age of 11. Then Vera Petrovna enrolled her son in the Moscow children's and youth hockey school CSKA, which was located on Leningradsky Prospekt. Vladislav had to pass the selection, during which it was important to be able to skate in reverse and hit the washers. Tretiak had a good command of these techniques and was enrolled in the CYSS.

In the youth club: the birth of the goalkeeper

At first, Vladislav played as a striker. Trained three times a week. For more than a month I dreamed of the present hockey uniform... But then she was not enough for all the athletes. Vlad was lucky that no one wanted to stand at the gate. Then the smart boy asked the coach to transfer him to a new position. So Tretyak became a goalkeeper and at the same time got the coveted form.

The father of the young hockey player was dissatisfied with the choice of his son, he often compared him to a janitor with a broom. But Alexander Dmitrievich changed his mind as soon as his son began to participate in competitions and bring home the money he earned for the games. Even then Vladislav Tretyak stood out among other juniors. How old was he at the time? Then the young hockey player was only 15 years old.

CSKA: adult category

The popularity of the talented goalkeeper grew every year. The audience noted his open smile and friendliness. Vladislav Tretyak never refused autographs to fans. The coaches, however, noted the professionalism with which sometimes, in an incomprehensible way, Vladislav caught the washers.

In 1967, Anatoly Tarasov, a CSKA coach, became interested in him. And Vladislav began to train with professionals, but after a while he was forced to return to the juniors for a while. During this period, Tretyak managed to become the champion of Moscow and receive the title of the best goalkeeper.

The 1968/1969 season was successful for Vladislav. He played for CSKA against Spartak. In 1969, Tretyak's very first test game took place as part of the Soviet national team. She played against the Finland team. Hockey players competed for a prize from the Izvestia newspaper.

In 1970 he was officially appointed to the USSR national team. In the same year, the hockey player became the world champion. Since 1971 Tretyak is the main goalkeeper of the team. In 1971, Vladislav won the title of world champion for the second time. The following year, he became the youngest Olympic hockey medalist, conceding the fewest goals.

In 1972 he won silver at the World Cup, the USSR national team lost in Supersession-72. Despite this, Vladislav Tretyak considers those matches to be one of the best in his career. In 1974, the goalkeeper played against the WHA, and the Soviet team won. One of the most memorable matches took place in 1975 against the Montreal Canadiens. Many hockey players, fans and coaches celebrated Tretyak's excellent performance. This match was among the best in Vladislav's list of games.

The end of the hockey career

His career was bright and short, but during this period the Russian goalkeeper, playing for the USSR national team, received 10 gold medals at the world and European championships. Three more first places - at the Olympic Games and the highest medal at the Canada Cup. For fifteen years, the famous goalkeeper was the country's first goalkeeper.

The athlete did not have time to play for professionals. Vladislav Tretyak completed his hockey career (see the photo of the goalkeeper in this article) in December 1984. This year he went on the ice for the last time. Then Tretyak preferred to devote more time to his family, who saw him on TV more often than with his own eyes.

Life after sports

First, Vladislav became a coach. From 1984 to 1986 he worked in the international department of CSKA. Then he received the post of deputy head of sports games and a little later received the deputy mandate of the Moscow Council. In the 1990s. worked for a large Canadian company. Coached the goalkeepers of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Thanks to the work of Tretiak with E. Belfort, the goalkeeper received the Vezina Trophy award. In 1998, Tretyak became the founder of the sports academy named after him. The Foundation provided assistance to novice hockey players. In 2000, Vladislav became a member of the Presidential Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the Russian Federation. Consisted in coaching staff the Russian team, which won silver and bronze at the Olympic Games in Nagano and Salt Lake City.

Prepared goalkeepers for the 2004 World Cup. Since April 2006 Tretyak has become the fifth president Russian Federation hockey, and since July 2010 - a member of the Patriarchal Council for Culture. Vladislav is a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Hockey Tournament. In 2014, at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi, he lit the Olympic torch with Irina Rodnina. Vladislav Tretyak is a member of the Moscow English Club Board of Trustees.

The personal life of the legendary goalkeeper

The famous goalkeeper married Tatiana Evgenievna in 1972. Until her retirement she worked as a teacher of literature and the Russian language. A year later, the couple had a son, whom they named Dmitry. In 1976, a daughter, Irina, was born. Children have chosen each of their life paths, far from sports.

Dmitry became a dentist, and his sister became a lawyer. But the grandson of Tretyak, Maxim, followed in the footsteps of his famous grandfather. The boy started playing hockey in the Silver Sharks, and in 2011 he became the main goalkeeper of CSKA.
